Power of a Pose

The pieces focus on visual motivation — poses spoken through the body language of mannequins. Each figure is a study in equilibrium: the moment before a step, the breath inside a gesture, the line of a shoulder turning into intent.

Wood forms are hand-finished with a custom faux-copper patina, accented with oxidized copper, and mounted on charred Shou Sugi Ban wood — a partnership of fire-darkened grain and verdigris that lets the figure read as both ancient and immediate.

Bronze cast versions are commissioned in custom sizes including human scale; client-requested poses are welcome.
